Kino Flo’s new Celeb® 850 LED DMX joins the expanding family of Celeb LED fixtures. One of the largest LED’s in the industry, the Celeb 850 measures 45″ x 26″ (114cm x 66cm). Light output is 111FC at 10ft (1251 LUX at 3M), but only uses 5.0A (120VAC). As with Kino Flo’s LED line, the Celeb 850 features three menus options, one white and two color menus. Those who prefer to work with white light can use the “white menu” that gives the user access to Dimming, Kelvin and Green/Magenta control channels.
Kelvin range is from 2700K tungsten to 6500K daylight.

In the color menu, the Kelvin range travels from 2500K tungsten to 9900K daylight, and Kino Flo has set up a fourth channel called Gel. The Gel channel includes Kino Flo presets such as blue & green screen, sodium vapor, mercury vapor and over 100 well-known lighting gels. In addition, there is also a fifth channel called Hue Angle and sixth channel, Saturation. These two channels behave similar to a traditional color wheel, where you have white light in the center, and the Hue angle determines the color along a 360-degree range, and Saturation determines how much color is applied. The second color menu provides individual red, green, blue (RGB) control. The RGB menu is a great way to work with apps with predetermined RGB presets or color wheels.

The Celeb 850 operates on universal input from 100-240VAC. With built-in DMX and Lumen Radio® receivers, the Celeb 850 can be controlled by DMX or DMX wireless.

The Celeb 850 comes complete with molded accessory holders, removable 90° honeycomb louver. A 60° honeycomb louver is also available as an accessory.

SnapBag and SnapGrid accessories are also available. With the SnapBag accessory, the surface area increases in size to 72″ x 49″ (183cm x 125cm) with a shallow depth of 17″ (43cm).

Its low energy profile, universal input and wireless feature make the Celeb a welcome addition to Kino Flo’s line of lighting instruments for any professional lighting application on location or in the studio. The Celeb 850 will be available in Center Mount as a fixture and kit in October 2017.
